The only downside to September coming and college football starting is that eventually it will end. Saturday as I know it is now over, but we still have Army-Navy next Saturday and then I will watch every single bowl game for the fifth straight year. That should give me about 248 games watched this year + the FCS national championship game will be 249 and crap, it ends there. Everyone who bet me saying I couldn't watch 250 games in one year, you guys win again.

Here are my final college football rankings of 2010, the next edition of rankings will be after it's all over in January.

And after my rankings you get my 2010 College Football Bowl Projections as I try to get right all of the 35 bowl matchups.

2010 Final Regular Season College Football Rankings
1. Auburn 13-0
2. Oregon 12-0
3. Wisconsin 11-1
4. Boise State 11-1
5. TCU 12-0
6. Stanford 11-1
7. Ohio State 11-1
8. Arkansas 10-2
9. Oklahoma 11-2
10. Michigan State 11-1
11. LSU 10-2
12. Virginia Tech 11-2
13. Alabama 9-3
14. Nebraska 10-3
15. Missouri 10-2
16. Oklahoma State 10-2
17. West Virginia 9-3
18. Nevada 12-1
19. Texas A&M 9-3
20. South Carolina 9-4
21. Utah 10-2
22. Mississippi State 8-4
23. Central Florida 10-3
24. Florida State 9-4
25. San Diego State 8-4
25. Connecticut 8-4
Dropped: Arizona, Northern Illinois

These rankings don't matter anymore but I do them based on 1. The Eye Test/Win-Loss Record 2. Body of Work 3. Who can beat who. But right now it's hard for me to distinguish the bottom of the rankings anymore not that it matters. South Carolina should be dropped after today, but they're still so much better than the other teams and I don't believe in Nevada, Utah and UConn is iffy to me because they can beat some of these top-25 teams.

Anyway, those are my rankings and here are my bowl projections. Tune to ESPN's Bowl Selection Show Sunday, Dec. 5 at 9pm ET to get all the bowl matchups and see how my projections went.

It'll be interesting as to see what the Orange Bowl does whether they take UConn or Stanford. Also not sure between Nebraska and Oklahoma State who's headed to the Alamo, I went with the Cowboys and we'll see on a lot more like the MAC teams, because of Middle Tennessee beating FIU today and getting bowl eligible, I put them into the Sun Belt's last spot in the Pizza Bowl and moved Louisville out of there and bumped Ohio from the picture which moved up Temple and Toledo. Now, I feel bad for Ohio, but there are only so many spots, but it could be that Ohio stays in and Middle Tennessee doesn't make a bowl.

There's also the rumors that the Outback Bowl wants Florida instead of South Carolina to play Penn State. We will see.
